My name is Bud Wendel. I live in Liberty Township with my wife and 5 kids along with our dogs. I am retired from Sycamore Schools after 30 years in education.
I have been interested in beekeeping for 15 years and have been keeping bees for 4 seasons now. I am fascinated with the relationship that the bees have with their keepers. I manage my bees with as natural an approach as possible.
Bigfoot Poultry Farm
2020 brings a new facet to my duties at the farm. I am starting to raise broiler chickens that are raised on non-GMO no Soy feed and finished on pasture. I greatly enjoy the family atmosphere of Liberty Farm Market and am grateful to be part of this valuable adventure.
